ESNA presents the FIRST Data Platform for Policymakers Featuring Curated and Aggregated Startup Ecosystem Intelligence

Europe Startup Nations Alliance (ESNA) launched its groundbreaking Data Platform today at 4YFN 2026 in Barcelona, Spain. ESNA’s Data Platform is the first European platform to centralise key information about startups, investments, and ecosystem performance across Member States in an aggregated manner for ease of policy making.

Barcelona, 4th  March 2026 – The Europe Startup Nations Alliance launched their Data Platform, built through the integration of multiple reliable data sources of the startup ecosystem, together with macroeconomic data. The platform encompasses aggregated and reliable data to help EU policymakers not only to design and implement startup friendly policies but also to monitor and benchmark across startup ecosystems worldwide, with focus on the European Union.

At this initial stage, the platform presents country level ecosystem insights alongside publicly available macroeconomic data. Additional data sources will be progressively integrated post-launch to further expand the platform’s depth and coverage. This state-of-the-art tool aims to bring the European startup and innovation ecosystem to the forefront by fostering knowledge exchange and information sharing among ESNA Members.
